LEDs

You can install one or two 8661 SAMs in the 8006 chassis. You can
install a maximum of four 8661 SAMs in the 8010 or 8010co chassis. The
chassis into which you install the SAM must contain at least one Web
Switching Module.

You cannot install the 8661 SAM in an 8003 chassis.

For information about how to perform 8661 SAM system configuration and
maintenance, see Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 8600 Configuration —
8661 SSL Accelerator with the Web Switching Module, NN46205-514.

SAM LEDs

The 8661 SAM includes an Online LED that indicates overall status for the
module and an Active LED to indicate traffic status. The following figure
shows the location of the LEDs on the 8661 SAM.
