Off
The module power is off. If the switch power
is on, the module is performing the power-on
self-test and software initialization. A module
in this state is not yet functional.
The 8616SXE module supports up to 32 000 table entries in its forwarding
engine.
The 8616SXE module does not support R or M mode.
When you use an 8616 module with Auto-Negotiation enabled, set the
re-autoneg flag for proper interoperability. Set the flag using the CLI
command
config bootconfig flags 8616-reautoneg true
or the
NNCLI command
boot config flags 8616-reautoneg
.
8624FXE module
The 8624FXE module provides 24 100BASE-FX ports using MT-RJ type
connectors (see the following figure).
