Green, Blinking
The port is receiving data. As port utilization
increases this LED can blink so fast that it
appears to be steady.
Green, Steady
The module completed the power-on self-test
and software initialization and is operating
normally.
Amber, Steady
The module failed the power-on self-test.
Amber, Blinking
The module is inserted into the chassis and is
running diagnostics.
Module
Online
Off
The module power is off. If the switch power
is on, the module is performing the power-on
self-test and software initialization. A module in
this state is not yet functional.
The 8608GTE module supports up to 32 000 table entries in its forwarding
engine.
The 8608GTM module is an M module and supports up to 128 000 table
entries in its forwarding engine, which supports large layer 2 and layer 3
configurations, including Internet routing tables.
The 8608GTE module does not support R or M mode. The 8608GTM
module supports R and M mode.
