The frequency is set by tapping the function keys at the bottom of the LCD screen.
[SWEEP MIN -> FREQ]
: Set the lower limit for the sweep frequency.
[SWEEP MAX -> FREQ]
: Set the upper limit for the sweep frequency.
[MKR -> FREQ]
: Set the main marker frequency.

: Set the delta marker frequency.
[DIRECT NEW]
: Set an arbitrary frequency.
[DIRECT EDIT]
: Edit the current frequency setting.
Changing the frequency setting immediately changes the oscillator output frequency.
When a sweep measurement is performed, the setting changes according to the sweep frequency. When a
sweep is completed, the setting value becomes the frequency at the end of the sweep.
■ Setting the AC amplitude
The AC amplitude for measurement is set in the range from 0 to 10 Vpk.

: Set an arbitrary frequency.
[DIRECT EDIT]
: Edit the current frequency setting.
● Cautions concerning the AC amplitude setting
Simply setting a value for the AC amplitude does not change the actual amplitude of the oscillator
output until the
AC/DC ON
key is pressed. Even if the AC and DC output lamps are lit, it is necessary
to press the
AC/DC ON
key to change the actual output amplitude.
● Constraints on the AC amplitude setting range and the DC bias setting range
The settings for the AC amplitude and the DC bias are limited to a total of ±10 V. If the DC bias is set
to 0 V, the AC amplitude can be set to a value of up to 10 Vpk. Please note that if the DC bias is set to
+1.2 V (or −1.2 V), the AC amplitude setting range is restricted to a maximum of 8.8 Vpk.
