This connector outputs a video signal that is the same as the instrument LCD to an external monitor or
projector.

DC BIAS OUT
This is an output connector for supplying DC bias to the equipment under test.
Maximum output voltage : ±10 V
Output impedance
: 600 Ω ±2%

: Rear panel, BNC connector
If the connector to which the DC bius voltage is output is set to the rear-panel
DC BIAS OUT
connector,
the DC bias (DC voltage) is output from this connector. In that case, only the AC component is output
from the
OSC
connector on the front panel.

4.3 Oscillator settings

The output impedance is 600 ohms, regardless of whether the output is on or off. Even when the output is
set to off, the relay is constantly connected to the internal output amplifier (the relay is always on). For
that reason, turning the output on or off does not affect the output impedance.
When the power supply is off, the relay is also off and the output amplifier is disconnected from the
rear-panel
DC BIAS OUT
connector. Even in that state, the output impedance remains at 600 ohms.
However, when the power is turned on or turned off, the output impedance is temporarily unstable.
The output voltage is set when there is no load (open load). When a 600 ohm load is connected, the
output is at half of the set voltage.

CAUTION
・
Applying an external signal to the DC BIAS OUT connector will damage the internal
circuits. Never input a signal to the DC BIAS OUT connector.
・
The BNC ground of the DC BIAS OUT connector is connected to the enclosure. Do
not connect signals for which there is a difference in potential relative to the
enclosure. Doing so may damage the instrument.
