■ Status display
This indicates the status of the instrument (remote control, measurement in progress, etc.).
• Reference clock selection status
INT : Operating on the internal reference clock
EXT : Operating on an external reference clock
• Measurement status
CAL : Calibrating
SINGLE IDLE : Idle
SINGLE SPOT : Spot measurement
SINGLE UP : Upsweep
SINGLE DOWN : Downsweep
REPEAT IDLE : Idle (repeat mode)
REPEAT SPOT : Spot measurement (repeat mode)
REPEAT UP : Upsweep (repeat mode)
REPEAT DOWN : Downsweep (repeat mode)
In single mode (front panel REPEAT lamp is not lit), the instrument goes into the idle state (IDLE) when
the measurement is completed.
In repeat mode (front panel REPEAT lamp is lit), the same measurement is performed again when the
measurement is completed. For sweep measurements, the sweep measurement is performed again over
the same sweep frequency range.
• Remote control status
LOCAL : Local state
REM : Remote control state
LLO : Local with lockout state
