■ [STOP MODE]
: Set the oscillation stop phase.
This selects whether to stop the oscillation instantaneously or to wait until the 0° phase of a sine function
before stopping the oscillation. This is useful for the measurement of electrochemical impedance because
the amount of charge transfer can be made zero by equalizing the areas of the positive and negative sides
of an AC sinusoidal signal.
○ Setting method

• QUICK
: Turn off instantly.
• 0° SYNC
: Turn off after waiting for 0° phase (stop oscillation).
When 0° SYNC is set, it takes up to one cycle of the signal at the longest from the time the output off
operation is performed to the time the output is actually turned off. Please note that, at 10 µHz, it takes up
to 10

seconds (27.8 hours) at the longest.
If the [ON/OFF MODE] is set to SLOW and the [STOP MODE] is set to 0° SYNC , the [STOP
MODE] setting has priority.
■ [WAVEFORM]
: Select the waveform.
This selects the oscillator output waveform from among sinusoidal, square, and triangular. Normally,
sinusoidal is used. Main characteristics such as amplitude accuracy and measurement accuracy are
specified only for the sinusoidal waveform.

The square and triangular waveforms should be used for frequencies of 100 kHz and below. At higher in
frequencies, waveform quality decreases.
