[DC BIAS]
–
[OUTPUT CONNECTOR]
: Set the DC bias output connector
This sets the connector from which the DC bias voltage is output.
○ Setting method
< List operations (confirming) >
• FRONT
:
The DC bias voltage is output from the
OSC
connector.
• REAR
:
The DC bias voltage is output from the
DC BIAS OUT
connector.
(Additional explanation)
Even if the DC bias output connector is changed, the connector from which the DC bias is output does
not change until the
AC/DC ON
key is pressed.
■ [ON/OFF SYNC]
: Set the measurement synchronization driving.
Measurement synchronization driving is a function for outputting a signal only during measurement. It is
used when the signal is to be applied to the equipment under test only during measurement. The output is
turned on at the beginning of measurement and is automatically turned off when the measurement is
completed.
○ Setting method
< List operations (confirming) >
• ASYNC
: Measurement synchronization is off. On-off control of the output is not
performed.
• SYNC (AC + DC)
: Measurement synchronization is on. The AC and DC outputs are both turned
on at the beginning of measurement, and both are turned off when the
measurement is completed.
• SYNC (AC)
: Measurement synchronization is on. Only the AC output is turned on at the
beginning of measurement, and only the AC is turned off when the
measurement is completed. DC on-off control is not performed.
If repeat measurement is performed while the measurement synchronization is on, the output is not turned
off even if one round of measurement is completed for either spot measurement or sweep measurement
(one sweep).
■ [ON/OFF MODE]
: Set the on/off mode.
This selects whether to turn the oscillator output on or off instantaneously, or to change the AC amplitude
or DC bias gradually over an interval of about 10 seconds. This is used to avoid sudden signal changes
such as when the equipment under test is a mechanical system.
○ Setting method
< List operations (confirming) >
• QUICK
: Instant on/off
• SLOW
: The output is turned on or off slowly over a period of about 10 seconds.
