5.6 Marker operations
You can display a marker on the graph and read the corresponding measurement value. The marker value is
displayed as the number in the marker display area at the top of the graph. Markers can be moved by using
the knob on the front panel and the data that is specified by the marker can be selected by using the two
keys (
ACTIVE
and
⊿
SET
) that are located below the knob.

■ Main marker and delta marker
The two types of markers are main markers and delta markers. The type of marker to use can be set with
【
Marker
】

[MARKER]
.
The main marker is for reading a data value and the delta marker is for displaying the difference in value
relative to the main marker. The main marker is indicated by an asterisk (*) on the graph and the delta
marker is indicated by the delta symbol (
⊿
).
In the upper part of the graph, the currently active marker and it’s data value are displayed.

MEAS
02
None : For normal measurement (sequence measurement OFF)
01 to 20 : Memory number for sequence measurement
MEAS : Measurement data trace
REF: Reference trace
* : Main marker
⊿
: Delta marker
To change the trace that the marker currently refers to, use the
ACTIVE
key; to toggle between the main
marker and the delta marker, use the
⊿
SET
key. When the delta marker is selected, the
⊿
SET
lamp
lights up.
