If the OSC output of the instrument is amplified with a power amplifier, it is possible to measure the
impedance by applying a large voltage/current to the DUT. A large amplitude or DC bias (voltage/current)
can be used to measure a change in the impedance characteristic caused by a nonlinearity such as saturation
of a magnetic or dielectric material.
