9.5  Leaving the machine

Danger of falling.
–

Use suitable stable ladders to climb up and down.

–

Position ladders on level ground.

–

Do not carry any objects by hand when climbing up or

down.

–

Always face the machine.

–

Always make sure you have at least three points of con-

tact with the ladder and grip handles when climbing up or

down. Two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand

must remain in contact with the ladder steps and the grip

handles at all times.

Steps and walkway gratings are folded in or dismounted for

transport. Therefore, when climbing into and out of the

machine, there is an increased risk of falling and sustaining

injuries.

Have a second person position a ladder at the machine so

the ladder is easy to access from the machine's cab door.

2.

Open the cab door.

3.

Use the grip handle to exit the cab.

4.

Lock the cab door.

5.

Remove the ladder.
