DEF can be filled in up to a minimum ambient temperature of

-11° C (12.2° F). At temperatures below -11° C (12.2° F) the DEF

will crystallize.

Preconditions:

The machine is turned off.

The machine is on firm and level ground.

DEFtank

Cap

Check the DEF tank for exterior soiling and spilled DEF.

Clean as needed.

Carefully open the sealing cover of the DEF tank.

Pour new DEF into the DEF tank.

Close the sealing cover.
