Spreader feeds more on one side
Hopper empties unevenly during
normal spreading. Fertiliser bridging above the agitator

Remove fertiliser until the height of the protective grid
on the affected side.

Break up accumulated fertiliser with a wooden stick
through the bars of the protective grid.
Outlet blocked

See metering outlet blockages.
Defective agitator

Remove fertiliser until the height of the protective grid
on the affected side.

Open the metering outlet and break up accumulated fer-
tiliser with a wooden stick through the bars of the pro-
tective grid so that the remaining fertiliser can run out of
the outlet.

Check functionality of agitator drive. See chapter
9.8: Checking agitator drive, page 190 .
Metering slide set incorrectly

Empty the hopper of remaining fertiliser. See chapter
B.10: Discharging residue, page 101 .

Check metering slide setting. See chapter
C.2: Adjusting the metering slide, page 105 .
Irregular fertiliser feed to spread-

Spreading discs flutter

Check that cap nuts are tight and the thread sits properly.
