1. Close the metering slide hydraulically.
2. Set the retaining screw to the highest scale value.
3. Open metering slides
4. Uncouple the hydraulic hoses.
 The return springs are de-tensioned.

WARNING
Danger of crushing and shearing through uncoupled
solid fertiliser broadcaster
If the retaining screw (slide actuation K and R) is released
while the returning springs are under tension and there is air
in the hydraulic pipe, the stop lever can snap back unexpect-
edly and forcefully against the end of the outlet.
This can cause crush injuries to the fingers of the operator.
 If the solid fertiliser broadcaster is parked without the
tractor, please open metering slide fully. This way the
springs will be relaxed.
 Never put your fingers in the guide slots of the metering
slide.
