Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.
Description
Assigns an IPv6 address (or network) to an interface and enables IPv6 processing
on that interface. The
no
version deletes the association from the interface.
NOTE:
The link-local address for an interface is automatically configured when IPv6
is enabled on the interface.

must appear in hexadecimal format using

of the high-order contiguous bits of the address comprise the prefix (the network
portion of the address).
