21 LUBRICATION SYSTEM

Position oil screen

with the O-rings on a pin wrench.

Position the pin wrench through the drilled hole of the screw

plug in the opposite section of the engine case.

Push the oil screen all the way into the engine case.

Mount and tighten screw plug

with the O-ring.

Mount and tighten the oil drain plug

with the magnet and

a new seal ring.

Pull oil filter

out of the oil filter housing.

Completely drain the engine oil.

- Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing area.

Lay the motorcycle on its side and fill the oil filter housing to

about½ full with engine oil.

Fill the oil filter with engine oil and place it in the oil filter

housing.

Lubricate the O-ring of the oil filter cover and mount it with

the oil filter cover (D.

Mount and tighten the screws.
