REAR
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Press the
mark-
ing side of
bearing.
Remove the dust seals.
Press the needle bearing out of the shock absorber.
TOOL
Needle bearing remover 07946
-
Apply grease to new needle bearing rollers.
Carefully press the needle into the shock
absorber until the depth from the surface is 5.5
mm 22 in).

Make sure that need e rollers are in
Apply grease to new dust seal lips and install them
into the upper pivot until they are seated against the
needle bearing.
Install the pivot collar.

INSTALLATION
Set the shock absorber onto the shock link and into
the frame and install the mounting bolts from the
right side.
Install the mounting nuts and tighten them.
TORQUE: 59 43
