FRONT
Remove the screw and grip end.
Remove the handlebar grip.
Remove the four bolts and the upper holders:
Remove the handlebar from the lower holders.
INSTALLATION
Place the handlebar onto the lower holders and align
the punch mark on the handlebar with the top
of
the
lower holder.
Install the upper holders with the punch marks facing
forward. Install the four bolts and tighten the forward
bolts first, then tighten the rear bolts.
Apply Honda Bond A or Honda Hand Grip Cement
only) to the inside surface of the handlebar
grip and to the clean surface of the handlebar.
Wait 3
-
5 minutes and install the grip. Rotate the
grip for even application of the adhesive.
NOTE:
Allow the adhesive to dry for an hour before using.
Install the grip end with the screw securely by align-
ing the flats.
Install the handlebar switch housing by aligning its
locating pin with the hole in the handlebar.
Install the t w o attaching screws and tighten the
upper screw first, then tighten the lower screw.
TORQUE: 2 (0.2 1.4
