REMOVAL

CYLINDER REMOVAL

Remove the cylinder head (section

7).

Remove the

two

cylinder bolts.

Remove the cam chain guide (front).
Remove the four

m m cylinder bolts and washers.

Remove the cylinder.

not strike the

cylinder

hard

and do not dam-

age the mating

surface with a

screwdriver.

Remove the gasket and dowel pins.

PISTON REMOVAL

Place a clean shop towel over the crankcase to pre-

vent the clip from falling into the crankcase.

Remove the piston pin clips with the pliers.
Push the piston pin out

the piston and connecting

rod, and remove the piston.
