CYLINDER

CYLINDER HEAD COVER INSTALLATION

Apply molybdenum oil solution to the slipper surfaces

the rocker arms and sub-rocker arms.

Clean the mating surfaces

the cylinder head and

head cover.

Pour engine oil into the

oil

pocket in the cylinder head.

The

turned

only

down.

This must be

done to prevent

the one-way

decompressor

system

functioning.

Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise and align the

"T"

mark on the flywheel with the index notch in the

left crankcase cover

that the cam lobes are facing

Install the dowel pins and

new gasket
