Operating the disconnector, 630 A panels
1.
Control panel of load-break switch or icircuit-breaker panel.
Interlocks
The disconnector can only be operated if the load-break
switch or circuit-breaker is open.
Mechanical change-over from the busbar position to
the earthing position
1. Turn the load-break switch or circuit-breaker off (see
chapter 4.2.2).
2. Slide the selector (7) to the right and put the operating
handle on the operating shaft (3) of the disconnector.
3. Turn the operating handle clockwise (180º) until
resistance is felt and switch-over has been effected:
The position indicator (4) of the disconnector must
indicate the earthing position.

OTE
The cable and the busbar system are now
separated by an earthed barrier.
4. Remove the operating handle.
Electric (remote) change-over from the busbar position
to the earthing position
1. In the case of remote-controlled installations, the
selector (7) must be left in the central position.
2. Turn the load-break switch or circuit-breaker off (see
chapter 4.2.2).
3. Press the (remotely positioned) button (12) to switch to
the earthing position.
The position indicator (4) must indicate the earthing
position.
Mechanical change-over from the earthing position to
the busbar position
1. Turn the load-break switch or circuit-breaker off (see
chapter 4.2.2).
2. Slide the selector (7) to the right and put the operating
handle on the operating shaft (3) of the disconnector.
3. Turn the operating handle counterclockwise (180º) until
resistance is felt and switch-over has been effected:
The position indicator (4) of the disconnector must
indicate the busbar position.

OTE
This removes the earthed barrier between the
cable and the busbar system.
4. Remove the operating handle.
Electrical (remote) change-over from the earthing
position to the busbar position
1. In the case of remote-controlled installations, the
selector (7) must be left in the central position.
2. Turn the load-break switch or circuit-breaker off (see
chapter 4.2.2).
3. Press the (remotely positioned) button (11) to switch to
the busbar position.
The position indicator (4) must indicate the busbar
position.
