Load-break switch/fuse panel
A load-break switch/fuse panel includes the following
principal components as standard:
a busbar system
a disconnector
a load-break switch
two fuse holders:
for fuses on 12 kV version (figure 1) or
for fuses on 24 kV version (figure 2)
one of two connection possibilities:
for 12 kV version (figure 1); cable connections for
paper-insulated lead-covered cables and plastic-
insulated cables via Eaton Magnefix cable boxes
for 24 kV version (figure 2); cable connections for
plastic-insulated cables directly under the fuses
an operating mechanism
a control panel
Options
The following options are available as standard:
12 kV version:
auxiliary contacts for load-break switch and
disconnector
auxiliary contacts for fuses
electrical opening and closing of load-break switch
24 kV version:
auxiliary contacts for load-break switch and
disconnector
auxiliary contacts for fuses
electrical opening and closing of load-break switch
fuses with 10/12 kV dimensions can be used with an
adapter
plug connector for plastic-insulated cable can be used
with an adapter
cable side voltage indication
Applications
Outgoing panels to transformers, protected with fuses.
The load-break switch disconnects in three poles after
one or more fuses blow.
