3.2.3 Transport accessories
Lifting accessories (figure 1):
a. four lifting eyes
b. four washers
c. four caps
Transport in switchroom
SVS/12 installations can be placed in the switchroom by
means of steel rollers. Trolleys from Eaton can also be
used to move the installation on wheels.
3.2.4 Setting up the installation
1. Make holes in the floor
according to the floor plan.
2. Remove the protective panels with the key supplied,
except for the protective panels for the fuses.
3. Set the installation up in the intended place and make
the fastenings finger-tight.

OTE
The installation must be level. If necessary,
spacers may be used to fill space between the
foundation frame and the floor.
4. Fasten the foundation frame with fixing bolts (M10).
Tighten the bolts with a torque of 15 Nm.
5. Connect the earth bar to the earthing system. Fit the
earthing point between the SVS/12 and the earthing
system. Fit the adapter ring with the smallest diameter
facing towards the station and tighten the hexagonal
bolt (M12) with a torque of 30 Nm (figure 2).
6. Remove the lifting eyes and/or the lifting frame (if
used). Close the openings in the top covers of the
installation with the supplied caps.

Setting up installations greater than 2.52 m
Installations greater than 2.52 m are supplied in sections.
Installations supplied in sections must be put in place and
coupled by the supplier.
