Chapter 4 Gateway Configuration
Play function by Button Mapping. On IP 500 IP phone, please press the
“REC/PLAY” button to play the recording.
2. Please enter the password and then press the # button. (The recording
system’s password is same as the voice mail’s one. The default password is
blank. You don’t need to enter any password.)
3. Follow the system prompts: press 1 to retrieve the new recording or press 2
to search the old recording by entering the date and time. Please follow the
following procedure to help you listen to the recording.
During the system prompts, you can press the
﹡
button to go back to the
previous page. When listening to the recording, you can press 0 to skip the time
announcement in the beginning.
You can only listen to the latest or the previous/next recording of today. When
you enter the date and time to search, the system will play the latest recording
of the time you enter.
You may also retrieve the recording of other extensions from your extension.
Please press the “Play” button and enter the password to access to the system.
After you access to the system, press the # button. Follow the system prompts
to enter the other’s extension number and its password to listen to the
recording.
Voice Mail Notification
If the Voice Mail Notification is enabled, the system will play the voice prompts
asking if you want to transfer the recording to the assigned e-mail address after
you play the recording. If the Voice Mail Notification is not enabled, the system
will not play the voice prompts.
