addressed to a host outside the local subnet. Notice that all the on-site IP
extensions need to be set in the same subnet of your Blaze/Savanna Server.
SMTP Server
Please enter the SMTP Server IP address in the field SMTP Server and the
e-mail address in the field E-mail Account. When the Unified Messaging
function is enabled, the system can send the voice message file via e-mail
through the SMTP server to the extension user. You may also enable the SMTP
Authorization function if the SMTP Server needs to verity the e-mail account
and password. If you enable SMTP Authorization, please be sure to enter the
Account Name and Password.
DNS 1 and DNS 2
Enter the Domain Name Server (DNS) IP address offered by your ISP. You can
enter up to 2 DNS IP addresses.
Timeout Settings
Forward Voice Mail Timeout
Set the timeout of forward voice mail. If an incoming call is not answered, the
call will be transferred to the voice mail system after the timeout.
Call Park Timeout
Set the timeout of Call Park. When the call is parked, if no one picks up the call,
it will be bounced back to the original extension parked the call after the
timeout.
How to Park a Call
To park a call, hold the current call, press the Call Park function code #15
and then assign a slot number (available from 0-9). You can page the
person to be reached to pick it up or you can move to a meeting room to
pick it up. If a parking slot is already used, you will hear a busy tone.
Please assign another slot number that is available.
To retrieve a parked call, press the Call Park function code #15 and then
press the assigned slot number to retrieve the parked call.
Call Hold Timeout
Set the timeout of Call Hold. When a call is placed on hold without any further
action, the call will ring back to the original extension after the timeout.
