Listening to Messages from E-mail
1. Make sure the administrator has enabled this function, i.e. the SMTP
server is set on the InterPBX System.
2. Make sure your e-mail address has been set on your personal Message
Option. For more details, see User’s Manual.
InterPBX supports Unified Messaging function that allows you to receive your
voice message via e-mail. When you have new messages, the system will send
you an attachment in wav format by e-mail. You can open the attachment to
listen to the message.
Please be sure if the following settings are properly set in order to make this
function work properly.
1. The administrator has to enable this function and also set the SMTP server
on the System Parameter option.
2. Your e-mail address must be set on the Notification option. Please refer to
User’s Guide.
Playing A Recording
The built-in Recording Server of the IP-PBX system provides users the option
of Store on Demand to record calls. Extension users on the Store on Demand
list may activate the recording function as they need. Note: Blaze1200 IP-PBX
system doesn’t provide the Store on Demand function. You may purchase the
professional recording system “Blaze Logger” if you need the recording
function.
To play a recorded call, please follow the steps below:
1. Press the “Play” button to access to the system. On IP580 IP Phones or
SoftPhones, please press the specific programmable button which has
been defined as the “Play the Recording” function. On IP500 IP Phones,
please press the “REC/PLAY” button to play the recording.
2. You will hear the voice prompts asking for your login password. Press
your password and the # button. (The password is the same as your Voice
Mailbox’s password. As default, you may enter the # button directly
without entering any password.)
3. Follow the voice prompts. Press 1 to play the latest recording or press 2 to
search the recording by Date/Time. Please refer to the diagram below.
