2.2 OBBLIGHI E DOVERI DEL
RESPONSABILE DEL CANTIERE
I datori di lavoro, i dirigenti ed i preposti che dirigo-
no o sovraintendono alle attività indicate, devo-
no, nell'ambito delle rispettive attribuzioni e com-
petenze:
a)
attuare le misure di sicurezza previste;
b)
informare i lavoratori dei rischi specifici cui
sono esposti e portare a loro conoscenza le
norme essenziali di prevenzione mediante af-
fissione, negli ambienti di lavoro, di estratti
delle presenti norme o, nei casi in cui non sia
possibile l'affissione, con altri mezzi;
c)
disporre ed esigere che i singoli lavoratori os-
servino le norme di sicurezza ed usino i mezzi
di protezione messi a loro disposizione.
Le norme, si applicano a tutte le attività alle
quali siano addetti lavoratori subordinati (de-
finizione di lavoratore subordinato: si intende
colui che fuori del proprio domicilio presta il
proprio lavoro alle dipendenze e sotto la di-
rezione altrui, con o senza retribuzione, an-
che al solo scopo di apprendere un mestie-
re, un'arte o una professione, compresi soci
di azienda o soci di coperativa), comprese
quelle esercitate dallo Stato, dalle Regioni,
dalle Provincie, dai Comuni ed altri Enti pub-
blici.
I datori di lavoro, i dirigenti e i preposti sono tenuti
a informare i lavoratori autonomi dei rischi specifici
esistenti nell'ambiente di lavoro in cui siano chia-
mati a prestare la loro opera. Nel caso in cui dal
datore di lavoro siano concessi in uso macchine o
attrezzi di sua proprietà per l'esecuzione dei lavori
di cui al paragrafo precedente, dette macchine
o attrezzi devono essere muniti dei dispositivi di si-
curezza previsti dalle presenti norme.

vidual equipment, you will find other impor-
tant and more specific safety information.
2.2 OBLIGATIONS AND DUTIES OF THE
WORKSITE MANAGER
Employers, executives and persons in charge or
who superintend the indicated activities must, each
within the scope of their respective duties:
a)
implement the required safety measures;
b)
inform the workers of the specific risks to which
they are exposed and make them aware of
the essential prevention regulations by
affixing, in the work environments, extracts
from these regulations or, in the event of
affixing not being possible, by other means;
c)
arrange and demand that the single workers
observe the safety regulations and use
protection means placed at their disposal.
These regulations must be enforced in all
circumstances when subordinate workers are
involved (by subordinate worker is meant
persons who work outside their own home in
the employment or under the direction of
others, with or without retribution, including
for the sole purpose of learning a profession,
an art or a job, including partners in
companies or members of cooperatives),
including those practised by the State, the
Regions, the Provinces, the Town/City
Councils and other public Bodies.
Employers, directors and persons in charge are
obliged to inform self-employed persons of the spe-
cific risks existing in the work environment where
they are called upon to work. In the event of the
employer providing machines or equipment be-
longing to him to do the required jobs indicated in
the previous paragraph, such machines and equip-
ment shall be equipped with the safety devices re-
quired by these regulations.
