RIDUZIONE NUMERO DI MAGLIE DELLA CATENA
Quando il tensionatore presente sul carrello non
può più compensare l’allungamento della catena
bisogna provvedere alla riduzione della stessa, me-
diante l’asporto di 2 maglie.
Potranno essere tolte solamente le prime due ma-
glie che si trovano all’estremità della catena, vici-
ne al tenditore: è vietato rimuovere qualsiasi altra
maglia intermedia.
ATTENZIONE! Prima di accorciare la
catena, verificare che non sia stato raggiun-
to il limite massimo di allungamento, poichè
in tal caso sarà necessario sostituirla intera-
mente.
Per la verifica dell’allungamento da usura
(stiramento), fare riferimento al capitolo successi-
vo.
REDUCING THE NUMBER OF CHAIN LINKS
Once the tightener on the slide is no longer able to
compensate chain lengthening, this will have to
be shortened by removing 2 links.
You can remove only the first two links that are
located at the end of the chain, close to the
tensioner: it is forbidden to remove any intermediate
link.
WARNING! Before shorten the chain,
you have to check that the maximum stretch
limit has not been reached, because in that
case you will need to replace the whole
chain.

to the next chapter.
