Expert use: manually calculating a common Dynacolor set
Starting from the
Measured values
(i.e. the values of the native primary colors of a projector as measured in ideal conditions in
the factory) of each device in a multiple channel display system, we can mathematically calculate a
common color triangle
. If we
enter the values of the common triangle as
desired values
in the active Dynacolor set of each device, we closely come to a color
matched system. Only
fi
ne tuning might still be required.

Barco can provide calculation tools where the Measured Dynacolor values of multiple devices can be entered to obtain the X and Y
coordinates of the primary colors of the common triangle. Calculating and entering a common Dynacolor set can only be performed
by Barco trained and quali
fi
ed engineers.
