EXT.I/O (3) Connector (D-Sub 9 pin)
The EXT.I/O (3) connector inputs and outputs an emergency stop signal for the
laser.

Description

When the laser is put in an emergency stop, the section between pin No.1 and pin No.6 is put in an open circuit.

When the section between Pin No.2 and Pin No.7 is put in an open circuit, the operation of the laser is stopped.

When the laser is put in an emergency stop, the section between pin No.1 and pin No.6 is put in an open circuit.

When the section between Pin No.2 and Pin No.7 is put in an open circuit, the operation of the laser is stopped.

When the section between Pin No.2 (emergency stop input) and Pin No.7
(emergency stop input) is opened, the laser welder is put to an emergency stop
status. The laser welder is put to the same status as where the CONTROL
keyswitch is OFF. When the section between pin No.23 (control switching) of
the EXT.I/O (1) connector and COM is put in an open circuit, this function is also
effective.
At occurrence of an emergency stop, the section between pin No.1 (emergency
stop output) and pin No.6 (emergency stop output) is put in an open circuit and the
emergency stop output status shown in the following figure is provided.
