1.2.2.2.2.2 SDTV Application with Graphics Data Range
The two equations presented in this section are for the SDTV application with graphics range data input.
The main application is for computer graphics display. The chromaticity parameters are defined by ITU-
R601 standard.
The input data ranges for these equations are as following.
In an 8-bit system:
•
Rd, Gd, Bd, Yd, Cb and Cr will be the range [0-255]
•
D = 1
In a 10-bit system:
•
Rd, Gd, Bd, Yd, Cb and Cr will be in the range [0-1023]
•
D = 4
