INSTRUMENT PANEL

Removal and Installation

RemOve the instrument panel and take off the instru-

Release from the

point of

attachment to the body the

merits and glove compartment.

instrument pane|

Release the m°|ding by pushing out the clips from

Back off and

remove the two screws on either Sid

the rear.

collect nuts and washers, and pull out the inStrument

Release the clips at the upper edge, which possibly

also retain the defroster duct, and

remove the over-

lav from the panel.

When refitting, apply glue only to the projecting part

of the instrument panel and the corresponding part of

the overlay, Then press the overlay in position.

Disconnect cable terminals, speedometer wire, hoses

for the sudedefroster and the controls fo

INSTRUMENT PANEL SCREWS

system.

Reinstall

in the reverse order.

Refit the molding and clips, cutting off the part of the

overlay that projects beyond the molding.

Refit the instruments and glove compartment.
