to manually pause the progress of the sequence.

When you resume reflex testing, the test continues at the intensity level during which the interruption
occurred.

Click again to resume testing.

to skip the ongoing measurement and continue with the next.

Resuming a sequence

If

Tools > Options > General > Auto resume on seal

is

On

, and a leak is detected or the probe is removed from the

patient's ear, the sequence pauses automatically. The sequence will automatically resume from the pause state when
seal has been reestablished.

The sequence continues from where it was paused. An interrupted reflex stimulus will be repeated.

Note

•

If the leak occurs during the tympanometric measurement, the tympanometry part of the sequence will

not be repeated. Press

Stop

and restart the sequence if you need to repeat the tympanometric measurement.

The probe must remain in place throughout the sequence. If the probe is removed, the test will restart with Tym-
panometry testing when testing is resumed.

Screening

You can perform Tympan Reflex Screening (T+RS) as a sequence from the Tympanometry test screen.

The safety intensity level cannot be exceeded in screening mode.

You can use either ordinary eartips or screening eartips for screening.

If you are using screening eartips and the setting

Auto start on seal

is set to

On

, the test will start with tym-

panometry testing and continue automatically from tympanometry to reflex screening when seal is obtained, i.e.
when the screening eartip is pressed gently against the ear.
