ETF-P

Initial pressure

The pressure used for the first part of the test.

Positive pressure

Select the maximum positive pressure to be presented to the ear
canal/middle-ear cavity.

0 to 400 daPa, presented in 50 daPa increments.

Default: 400 daPa

Negative pressure

Select the maximum negative pressure to be presented to the ear
canal/middle-ear cavity.

-100 to -600 daPa, presented in 50 daPa increments.

Default: -400 daPa

Changes the speed of the pressure sweep. Indicated in daPa per
second.

Note

It is highly recommended that the lowest setting (50

daPa/s) is always used for ETF-P.

While the pump is operating, a scale at the top of the screen indic-
ates the current pump position graphically, i.e. the proportion of the
pump’s capacity being used to obtain the static pressure used for the
measurement.
