Testing with the OTOsuite Immittance module

11.1

Sequence testing

A test sequence is a predefined set of automatic tests which can be performed automatically.

MADSEN OTOflex 100 will always perform the most recently selected sequence, regardless of whether it has been selec-
ted in the OTOsuite Immittance module or in MADSEN OTOflex 100.

Note

•

The Reflex Thresholds are included in the test sequences in order to measure Reflex Decay, since the

decay stimulus levels are based on thresholds.

Selecting a test sequence

You can perform the immittance tests in sequences.

The press-and-hold function is disabled, and only the currently selected measurement type will be performed.

11.1.2

Running a test sequence

Starting a sequence

1. Connect to MADSEN OTOflex 100.

2. Select the desired sequence from the drop-down list below the Immittance module Control Panel.

3. Click

Start

to start the selected sequence.

If

Tools > Options > General > Auto start on seal

is set to

Sequence

, the sequence starts as soon as

probe seal is achieved.

Warning

•

If the patient is troubled by the test, stop the test. The test is interrupted and the pump

pressure is relieved immediately.Already measured results are kept.

Pausing or stopping a sequence

If a leak is detected or the probe is removed from the patient's ear, the sequence pauses automatically.
