Manual RD testing

1. Check and, if needed, adjust the Control Panel and Test settings.

Select the settings needed for

Stimulus

Intensity

and

Stimulus side

in the

Manual

sec-

tion of the Control Panel.

If you select a

Control Panel

Stimulus

setting not included in your view setting setup,

the Thresholds table is automatically updated to show the selection when the test is star-
ted.

Custom TPP offset

in the

Reflex Threshold

section of the Control Panel:

Checked

: If this setting is applied in the Reflex Threshold test, it is automatically included

in the Acoustic Reflex Decay test, but not vice versa.

2. In the Reflex Decay screen, click

Start

on the Control Panel.

3. If needed, repeat testing of more stimulus levels.

Pausing the test

1. To interrupt the test, click/press

Pause

2. To resume the test, click/press

Pause

again. After the pause, the test resumes at the intensity

it came to or was interrupted in.

Continuing the test

1. When you have finished testing one ear, switch ears, if needed.

2. To continue testing, click/press

Start

and test the other ear.

The test progresses as follows

Deflection graph

The deflection graph is limited by blue markers indicating stimulus on and off.

A third marker appears as indication of the half-life time where the curve decreases to 50% of its
initial deflection.
