Keyboard Cleaning
When necessary, inspect and clean the inside of the keyboard. Proceed as follows:

Remove the six screws holding the keyboard enclosure together (see Figure 4-1).
NOTE:
The keyboard and cable together are
considered a whole-unit, field-replaceable as-
sembly. Therefore, disassembly of the keyboard
is necessary only when cleaning the inside.

Separate the two halves of the enclosure. Clean the enclosure and keys with a
damp cloth. A small, soft-bristle brush may be used to clean between the keys.
Do not wet or dampen the keyboard's printed circuit board (PCB). If the PCB ac-
cidentally gets wet, thoroughly dry it before reattaching the keyboard to the sys-
tem unit.
