MONITOR OPTION

This subsection explains how to connect a monitor. Because each system board has an
integrated video controller, the monitor does not require a video controller board. Use the
following guidelines to set up the monitor.

n

 

Place the monitor in a dry, clean, dust-free location.

n

 

Allow adequate ventilation around the monitor so that heat generated can
dissipate properly.

n

 

Place the monitor away from high-capacity transformers, electric motors, and
other strong magnetic fields.

To minimize eye fatigue:

n

 

do not place the monitor against a bright background or where sunlight will shine
directly on it.

n

 

position the monitor just below eye level.
