Chapter 4: Basic Analyzer Operation

Vial Set Cartridges

The Super 

iOS

 is designed to take advantage of Sievers Standards in cartridges. The Analyzer automatically 

reads certain data from the cartridge, including the following:

Vial set part number

•

Vial set expiration date

•

Vial set name

•

Vial name

•

Vial part number

•

Vial lot number

•

Vial expiration date

Steam Exposure

The 

iOS

 and Super 

iOS

 are rated at IP 45 and can withstand short-term steam exposure of up to 40 psi steam for 

30 minutes. When exposed to steam, the Analyzer should be powered off or in standby mode, and not in 
analysis mode. After exposure to steam, allow the Analyzer to cool before returning to Analysis mode. Observe 
the following cool-down intervals before starting analysis after steam exposure:
