Current limit “Current Limit”
This parameter determines the maximum motor current from the AC drive.
The parameter’s value range differs from size to size.
When the Current limit is changed the Stall current limit is internally calculated to 90%
of the current limit (if the Stall current limit is greater than the Current limit). When the
current limit is active the drive output frequency is reduced until current is below the
set limit.
In closed loop control, the current limit affects the torque producing current limit,
not total current. This can be changed in options group with the “LimitTotalCurrent”
parameter.
In drive synch operation limiting is for average current of units.
