P1.15.1
1544
Mechanical brake reaction time “brake mech delay”
After the brake open command has been given, speed iskept at the Brake Open limit
until the reaction time haspassed. This hold time should be set corresponding to
themechanical brake reaction time. This function is used toavoid current and/or torque
spikes eliminating a situationwhere the motor is run at full speed against the brake.
Ifthis parameter is used when simultaneously with the brakeacknowledge input both
time and brake acknowledgementsare needed before the speed reference is released..
P1.15.2
1535
Brake frequency limit open loop “BrakeOFFFrqLimOL”
This parameter defines the frequency limit to release the brake.
This value also applies as the maximum frequency referencelimit while the brake
is closed. In open loop control it isrecommended to use a value that is equal to the
motor’snominal slip.
P1.15.3
1555
Brake frequency limit closed loop “BrakeOFFFreqLimCL”
This parameter defines the frequency limit to release the brake.
This value also applies as the maximum frequency referencelimit while the brake is
closed. In closed loop control itis recommended to use zero value so that the brake
isreleased while the drive has zero speed at start. If torque isneeded to avoid position
change at the moment the brakemechanically opens use the start-up torque function.
P1.15.4
1539
Closing frequency from forward direction “BrakeOnF”
Output frequency limit to close the brake when the speedapproaches zero speed from
positive direction. Liftingdirection must be given as positive frequency..
P1.15.5
1540
Closing frequency from reverse direction ID1540 “BrakeInFreqLim -“
Output frequency limit to close the brake when the speedapproaches zero speed from
positive direction. Loweringdirection must be given as negative frequency.
P1.15.6
1085
Brake On/Off current limit “BrakeOnOffCurLim”
If motor current is below this value the brake is closed immediately.
It is recommended to set this value to approximately 25 % of the magnetization current
from the maximum used frequency.
