Set the idle timeout for TX54 users

Idle timeout
, enter the amount of time that the active session can be idle before the user
is automatically logged out.
Allowed values are any number of weeks, days, hours, minutes, or seconds, and take the
format
number
{
w|d|h|m|s
}.
For example, to set
Idle timeout
to ten minutes, enter
10m
or
600s
.
5. Click
Apply
to save the configuration and apply the change.
Command line
1. Log into the TX54 command line as a user with full Admin access rights.
Depending on your device configuration, you may be presented with an
Access selection
menu
. Type
admin
to access the Admin CLI.
2. At the command line, type
config
to enter configuration mode:
> config
(config)>
3. At the config prompt, type:
(config)# auth idle_timeout
value
where
value
is any number of weeks, days, hours, minutes, or seconds, and takes the format
number
{
w|d|h|m|s
}.
For example, to set
idle_timeout
to ten minutes, enter either
10m
or
600s
:
(config)> auth idle_timeout
600s
(config)>
4. Save the configuration and apply the change:
(config)> save
Configuration saved.
