3.67 Improper Combination of Indoor Unit and Outdoor Unit

Method of Error
Detection
 A difference occurs in data by the type of refrigerant between indoor and outdoor units.
 The number of indoor units connected is out of the allowable range.
 Signal transmission between indoor and outdoor units is abnormal.
Error Decision
Conditions The error decision is made as soon as either of the abnormalities aforementioned is detected.
Supposed
Causes

Excess of connected indoor units
 Defective outdoor unit main PCB
 Mismatch of the refrigerant type of indoor and outdoor unit.
 Setting of outdoor unit main PCB was not carried out after replacing to spare PCB.
Troubleshooting
Ensure the sub code or the lamp display of
monitor mode, and then go to the following:
Caution
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
