Use of the ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner as a tightening spindle
If the ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner is used as a tightening spindle, the start switch must be continually
actuated. This is applicable to both the

Modular system
Motor-breaker in a tightening cell
In case of a motor breaker request, the VM350 supply module ensures that the supply of the motor is
interrupted in all servo amplifiers. In case of operation, this reduces the danger to the operating personnel.
XDN2
To achieve a central stop of the motor of all servo amplifiers (LTU350/1, LT35x , TS350D/LTE350D), the
XDN2 user interface (see Fig.
) must be connected to pin 3 and pin 4 of the power supply module
(VM350).
X1S2
The X1S2 interface (see Fig.
) enables the external 24 V power supply. This ensures the power
supply e.g. to interfaces after power supply switch off, e.g. due to an emergency stop by the user.

The user is obliged to maintain the system-specific requirements for an emergency OFF system.
