AFO
Each work sequence (AFO) is represented by one line in the AFO table, see table 6–144 . In the AFO
table, an unlimited number of AFOs can be inserted and deleted. It is checked by a mechanism if the
names of several AFOs are identical or if the corresponding field is empty:
• AFOs have identical names
In this case, a message is shown that the name has been assigned several times. Moreover, the user
is asked if the name of the AFO is to be changed.
– If the user decides to change the name, the cursor is moved to the AFO field (see table 6–144 )
and the name can be changed.
– If the user decides not to change the name, the name that has been assigned several times is kept.
• AFOs have no names
In this case, the following message is output: The configuration contains AFOs with empty names.
Do you still want to continue? Users can choose between Yes and No .
Table 6–144 is a schematic presentation of a clear assignment of the combination of channel number
and program number ("physical process information") to a work sequence ("logic IPM feature").
