SEn
Signal Enable: Enables signals
Input signal used for:
•
Tightening channel (
SEn
)
•
Communication unit in single-channel operation (
CH x.y SEn
)
By setting the
Ch x.y SEn
signal, the user enables the signals of a tightening controller at the control
interface of the KE for single-channel operation via the KE. As a tightening channel's PLC input signals
can also be used by KE applications, they must be enabled for single-channel operation via the KE.
The SE PLC input signals are only enabled once the application accessing the SE has been executed.
The enable signal is only accepted by the KE if the channel is out of use (
Ch x.y InCy
= "low").
Applications using an SE are not ready to start (
FO Rdy y
= "low") if their PLC input signals were enabled
for single-channel operation via the KE (see figure
The external
Ch x.y UsrIn1/2
input signals are transferred from the KE to the SE irrespective of the
Ch x.y SEn
signals and can be evaluated in the tightening program.
Seq 0-7
Sequence Bit 0-7: Application number
Input signal used for:
•
Tightening channel (
Seq 0-7
)
•
Communication unit in application operation (
FO x SE Seq 0-7
)
These inputs are used to select the application even while the previous application is still active. It will
only be executed after a restart.
SpDck
Spindle Docking: Nutrunner replacement
Input signal used for:
•
Tightening channel (
SpDck
)
This signal is used in connection with the nutrunner docking function. Before the servo amplifier and the
tightening tool (ErgoSpin hand-held nutrunner or Rexroth tightening spindle) are disconnected, this signal
must be set to "high".
After the servo amplifier and the tightening tool have been connected, this signal must again be set to
"low" to allow reconfiguring the tightening system.
When an SE is used, the
SpDck
signal must be enabled beforehand as follows:
activate
CH x.y SEn
•
Target function reached
By resetting the
Ch x.y SEn
signal, the previously set signals of the tightening controller (e.g.
Prog0 -7
)
still remain set. The respective signals are not reset or newly set before an application is started.
