1.1.1 Applications
• The IES can provide Internet access and multimedia services for Multiple Tenant Units (MTU).The
following diagram depicts a typical application of the IES-5000 with DSL modems, in a large
residential building, that leverages existing phone line wiring to provide Internet access to all
tenants. ADSL service can coexist with voice service on the same line.
