Finally, the DX-80 also allows you to use special characters from other languages. Which letter the system enters
is dependant on the numbering scheme you have specified, from 0 to 7. Only one numbering scheme can be active
at a time. Refer to the following table for details.

For example, if your customer site is in a bilingual Spanish/English area, you may want to choose let-
tering scheme 4, as it contains Spanish letters. The extension users can then send text messages in
Spanish or English.
