Enter
to specify how long you want the system to wait before outputting
DTMF tones. Valid choices are 0 - 8 seconds. The default is 0 seconds.
5. When you are done, press
Esc
to return to the Call Handling menu. The system prompts: “Exit This Fea-
ture?”; press
Y
for yes.
6. The system prompts “Save Current Setting?” Press
Y
to save your changes.
7. The system then prompts “File Exists, Override?” Press
Y
to continue with the save operation.
8. Press
Esc
to return to the Call Handling menu.
9. Next, specify the dial delay. Highlight
Category 3
and press
Enter
. The system displays the Call Han-
dling—Category 3 screen.
10. Highlight
Dial Delay Time
and press
Enter
to specify the delay before the system presents dial tone to the
extension user. Valid choices are 100, 300, 1000, 1500, and 2000 milliseconds. The default is 100 millisec-
onds.
11. When you are done, press
Esc
to return to the Database Programming screen. The system prompts: “Exit
This Feature?”; press
Y
for yes.
12. The system prompts “Save Current Setting?” Press
Y
to save your changes.
13. The system then prompts “File Exists, Override?” Press
Y
to continue with the save operation.
14. Press
Esc
to return to the Database Programming menu.
15. When you have finished all programming changes, perform a Send operation to copy your new database to
the DX-80 switch system memory. For more details, see Section 2.1.4.4,
