9. When you have finished all programming changes, perform a Send operation to copy your new database to
the DX-80 switch system memory. For more details, see Section 2.1.4.4,

Discriminating Ringing is provided to denote ringing patterns specific to system resources. Ringing at an
extension for intercom calls is different than ringing for CO line calls; this difference is referred to as discrimi-
nating ringing.
There are ten ring schemes from which you can choose.
